Colombia - Popayan - Espresso
Origin: Popayan, Cauca
Process: Washed
Variety: Caturra & Typica
Altitude: 1700-2100m
Popayán is one of Colombia's oldest coffee cities, sitting at the heart of Cauca's volcanic hillsides.
Grown across the Andean highlands between 1,500–2,200m, Colombian coffees from Cauca are celebrated for their balance of citrus acidity, caramel sweetness, and smooth body. Colombias washed process tradition produces clean, structured cups that appeal to espresso drinkers but also has the body and depth of flavour to cut through milk
Cup notes: Red Apple, Dark Chocolate, Hazelnuts, Toffee. Rich and Deep with long lingering finish.
